Head and Heart Micro-Credential

Exciting news for our Head and Heart Conference attendees!

Extend your Head and Heart learning into an ACSI-recognized professional credential that demonstrates your ability to use the Head and Heart framework and the All Belong Three-Step Process so that every student is known, needed, and experiences belonging in your Christ-centered school.

Who Can Participate

This micro-credential is available to teachers, administrators, and support staff from All Belong Member Schools who have attended, or are registered to attend, the All Belong Head and Heart Conference Parts 1 and 2.

Competencies

  • Understand and use the framework and language of neurodevelopment when thinking about and describing student learning profiles.

  • Understand and use the framework and language of social-emotional development when thinking about and describing student learning profiles.

  • Use the All Belong Three-Step Process to know students excellently and create effective support plans.

Timeline and Case Study

Within six months of your micro-credential registration, you will submit work based on one self-selected case study student that demonstrates the core outcomes of the Head and Heart training.

Required Work Products

Note: You may choose a different case study student than the one you used during the Head and Heart Conference, but you will need to complete the All Belong Three-Step Process again for that student.

  • Completed Head and Heart case study forms for one self-selected student (rating scales and See, Think, Do forms)

  • A completed student demystification planning form and a demystification session with the student, verified by a school administrator

  • A one-page written reflection on how you will use this training to support student flourishing and your next action steps
